PK DOMAIN TRANSFER

To transfer a domain from one account to another, PKNIC requires an authority letter from the present domain registrant (owner of the domain, not the agent or technical contact) to PKNIC.

Requirements for companies

  • The authority letter should be printed on the company’s letterhead bearing the official seal.
  • The letter should contain the following details
    • the account information from which the domain is being transferred from
    • the account where the domain is intended to be transferred.
  • For the citizens of Pakistan, a copy of the NIC (national identity card) of the company’s head or director is required.
If the registrant’s name does not match with the officially used emblem (i.e., on company letterhead)?
  • An affidavit is required with proper legal format mentioning the official authorization is needed.
  • The affidavit must meet the legal formalities
    • Such as stamp paper worth Rs. One hundred
    • Attested by the oath commissioner.

Requirements for Individuals:
  • An affidavit in proper legal format is required.
  • The affidavit has to be legally binding, on stamp paper worth Rs. 100
  • Should be attested by the oath commissioner

E-mail Verification

  • E-mail verification from the present domain owner or agent is also needed. They would then be asked for consent for the domain transfer
  • The transferee will then be asked to accept the incoming domain transfer request.
